DR LANZER – AN EXPERT REFERENCE
Clinical Professor Dermatologic Surgery of the University of California San Francisco USA, Dr Christopher Zachary MD wrote:
“It has been my pleasure to work with Dr Daniel Lanzer, M.B. B.S.,F.A.C.D recently in Sydney. Dr Lanzer has an excellent reputation in the United States for safe and innovative liposuction techniques. I particularly wanted to assess Dr Lanzer’s liposuction techniques for breast reduction in those cases referred for medical reasons who would normally undergo conventional surgical mammoplasty reduction. Dr Lanzer exhibited a methodical approach to initial assessment , examination, mammography, and other studies prior to surgery. He also works closely with the general oncologic surgeons who run the breast cancer clinics. I was impressed with the use of tumescent anaesthetic and small liposuction cannula technique which resulted in very significant breast reduction in a safe and very aesthetic manner. One of the most significant advantages of this technique relates to the ability of these women to get back to work within two days. This contrasts with the five to six week post-operative recuperation for conventional mammoplasty breast reduction surgery.
Dr Lanzer was one of the first Australian laser surgeons to perform UltraPulse C02 laser resurfacing. He and another group of laser investigators first used these lasers back in 1992-1993 at a time when few in the USA were using this technique. In that sense I believe these Australian physicians led the way and had the lions share of experience at those early scientific meetings.
Dr Lanzer has contributed very significantly to the development of cosmetic surgery over the years, and these contributors should be recognised.
We offer a FREE, No Obligation Cosmetic Surgery Consultation and a detailed explanation of the procedure.
Dr Lanzer can email all patients a detailed consent form which provides information related to the surgery. This information is made available to all patients before surgery, allowing enough time for the patient to ask any questions they may have.
