Aura Laser & Photo Rejuvenation
Aura laser is one of our classic lasers. We have been using it in one of its forms for over 13years. We think it is still the best laser for treating blood vessels and spider angioma. It’s also a great laser for background redness and flushing, red and purple birthmarks like haemangiomas and port wine stains. This laser removes and lightens pigmented marks like freckles lentigines and chloasma. The Aura laser is also used for a cosmetic procedure called photo rejuvenation. Photo rejuvenation is where we use the laser light to heat up the deep dermis where the fibroblasts live and then the fibroblast cells start to make new collagen which then crosslinks with elastin and plumps up and smooths the skin hence rejuvenation making the skin look younger.
