Breast Enlargement
Dr Lanzer was first in Australia to use the Adivive device which is A natural Fat Transfer System of concentrated fat.
The Fat is prepared so that it is concentrated and purified and thereby rich in Adipose Derived Stromal/Stem Cells. (ADSC)
Ones own fat is harvested through liposuction and injected into the Breast for an enlargement. Fat can also be used in the face for rejuvenation or other areas of the body.
Breast implant – using your own fat
A new fat transfer system that uses your own fat to transfer to breasts or other areas of the body has been approved for local use.Dr Lanzer’s clinic is the first in Australia to use the new Adivive machine that has just received TGA approval.
The Adivive machine produces condensed high quality fat from liposuction that can then be injected into areas of your body including:
- Breasts for a natural enhancement to the breast size and shape.
- Face for facial rejuvenation to restore volume and plump areas such as hollow cheeks.
- Other parts of the body such as the hands.
The fat is harvested through liposuction from areas such as the stomach, love handles, thighs or wherever excess fat is located. The harvested fat is then condensed, filtered, and injected into the desired treatment area. The loss of volume in our face and natural contours of our body are signs of aging. Hollows that appear in our cheeks and around our eyes can make us look and feel older than we are. Fat transfer is an aesthetic procedure that takes fat from one area of your body and relocates it to another area of your body to restore lost or uneven volume and contours. The fat is used as a natural injectable to treat areas such as the face, breast, buttocks, and hands.
Dr Lanzer says the device has three major advantages:
Fat rich in stem/stromal cells: The Adivive centrifuges fat under compact pressure with in-built filtering. Oils and unwanted tissue are separated leaving a more purified fat that is rich in ADSC (Adipose derived Stroma/Stem cells). Dr Lanzer says the treated fat with its high concentration of cells may enhance the longevity of the fat transfer.
Enclosed System: The entire process – fat extraction, separation and filtration and injection – is in a totally enclosed system which minimises the chance of contamination and adds an extra safety factor which is vital for breast fat transfer.
Pressured delivery: The Adivive device allows for an air pressured even injection and filling of fat into the breast which helps produce a natural and even result. The fat is injected via a small tube and there are no stitches.
Dr Lanzer warns that as with all grafts there is a difference between patients as to the longevity of the fat transferred. The fat may last forever as a permanent result or totally dissipate with no result. Some patients may find a slow reduction and benefit from repeat enhancements.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long will my procedure take?
Fat transfer procedures with the Adivive system can take as little as an hour for smaller areas in the face and hands, but treatment time depends on the size of the area treated.
Are there any risks or side effects?
Most common side effects are swelling and/or bruising which may take up to a few weeks to resolve. Consult with your physician about procedural instructions, expectations, and other potential side effects.
How many treatments will I need?
You may achieve dramatic results after just one treatment but the number of treatments needed is determined by, among other things, the desired outcome and the size of the treatment area.
How long will my fat injection last?
The length of time that your fat injection will last varies, and for some people it may be very long-lasting. Unfortunately fat may not take in its new location and the fat may totally disappear immediately or over many months. Repeat injections may be an option
