Fat is often injected along the lip line and into the naso-labial fold (the line between the lip and the cheek). Fat can also enhance the cheek bones or fill out scars. Fat may be injected into the back of the hands to create a smoother and fuller appearance.
The recovery period is usually a few days. During this time, you may expect to have some swelling, and in some cases bruising.
